I don't think he's the best of anything!. Actually he's taking such a high risk supporting the USA in this war, I was hearing him answering some questions in the UK and he got jeers that he could hardly answered the questions! I hope he knows what he's doing....

Well, he's not certainly the only one taking the risk, Berlusconi is taking a huge risk too and all those leaders who are supporting the USA in this war. A sign of weakness? no, but people will think TWICE...maybe THREE times before to put a vote on them again!

Yes, especiall now that they have wasted all that time, and the military advantage, by prattling on with all those toothless old women at the UN!!
Now they look like fools, no matter what they do.
Go in, make a mess of things, lose countless lives, cost hundreds of billions in post war repair and have every half-witted rebel in the world taking pot shots at you,
or,
back down and have France, Belgium, Russia and China strut around bragging how they backed the "paper tiger" down.
Their only hope is a miraculous war effort- which is near impossible in desert conditions.
I am sure Blair is just itching for all this to be over with...
From ABC News:
The British plan calls for Saddam to meet six conditions to avoid war,
including going on television to issue a "mea culpa" that he has weapons
of mass destruction and promises to destroy them. This comes as Prime
Minister Tony Blair walks a razor-thin tightrope at home. Taking a
pro-American stance has had huge political costs. Some of his Labor Party
colleagues have threatened to resign if Britain goes to war without U.N.
backing. And some have asked whether this new British demand that Saddam
publicly confess to having banned weapons is so humiliating that it's
tantamount to a declaration of war.
