What is Nice About T&T?
I just realized that this forum is starting to knock T&T a lot so I thought I would add this thread for anyone that wants to say what is positive about T&T...
1. Thinking.... Thinking....
2. The country of itself (the land, seas, animals, etc) is beautiful, I mean if you ever went down the islands, visited Tobago's reef or on a hike in Maracas you will see just how beautiful Trinidad and Tobago is...
3. The food is outstanding. I am yet to go to a country that has better chefs and cooks that here.
4. The 'freedom' of going out and doing things with a 'pardner' or friend is the live pot of the country.
5. There is quite a lot of talent here, although I would like to see better exposure and development for it.
Good thread JB. Well, as a foreigner living in Trinidad these are the nice things about TT in my perspective:
1) Being such a small island, every time you go to town it's impossible not to meet someone you know! :D
2) People make you feel very welcomed. That's the first great impression I got of Trinidad.
3) THE FOOD IS AMAZINGGGGGGGG!!!!!
4) Everything seems pretty 'casual' and I like that
JB, this is a good thread to show that there is positive things in our country besides all that going on now.
Positive things where do I begin! There are so many.
The country of itself is so beautiful, I have been down the islands many times and love it. I can live over there, the air you breathe in is so healthy, fresh and clean.
Maracas beach is beautiful, I love it at Las Cuevas, and when I was living in Trinidad my friends and I use to go beach hunting every Sunday those were really nice times.
Tobago is my home and what a beautiful home it is. I will recommend Tobago to anyone who wants to visit. It is such a beautiful country lay back, relaxing, peaceful, adventurous and don't get me started on the beaches and waterfalls. The reef is heavenly.
There's no place on this earth that you can get good food to eat, all those crab and dumplins, bush meat, bush rum, sugar cane, mangoes all the fruits you can think about you can get it no other place but sweet T&T. Maybe am bias but let me be
I love my country!
hey Roj, you found Trini less stressful? :)
I found it pretty much stressful if you don't have a pretty comfortable life. Plus, not to mention all the things you read in the newspaper every day. I mean, I would relax and enjoy life if I would have a beautiful home in Westmoorings, having a job that pays me $20,000 a month, and can get all the shopping I want *smile*
Then...sure...I would relax and enjoy life.... ;D
T&T has so much to offer.
I have travelled throughout most of the Caribbean Islands and each has its own niceties, but home is home!
The scenery.
The Beaches.
The Warmth of the people.
The Food.
The Relaxed atmosphere.
Even the Language with the slangs, only a TRINI can appreciate and understand it
How ah could do with a cold Carib and Beef Roti now.
