Bad Good Carnival

I heard that the Catholic Church will participate in bands again and they will have their own. According to the news they won't serve alcohol, no immoral music will be played and those doing the dutty whine will be put out of the band.

Did anyone see that photo on TV6 UReport of those silly people dancing on top of a police vehicle? Does that make Carnival good? No respect... And for some reason a lot of Trinidadians think that because there is an 'event' law does not apply anymore. With that particular photo... Were the police in that car or around watching?

There nearly 150 arrests across the country for various offenses as the police and, military were making no joke about safety issues with Carnival. No major incidents thus far and even the Prime Minister, Kamla Persad-Bissessar, was jumping up with the 'People's Band'.

Vendors on Charlotte St. Were angry at the NCC that no bands passed on their street and they are losing income because of it even though bands were scheduled to pass on Charlotte St.

Did you all see the "new" costumes, wire bras and thongs? Women of all sizes were wearing this during Carnival celebrations, some of their breasts were only cover by a tiny piece of cloth resembling a grape.

Comments: Could anyone tell me what this Government is doing about crime, salary increases and making life better for our disabled community? Is seems to me that this Government cares more about spending millions of dollars on doing things that pleases the DEVIL via Carnival! People from all over the world come here to see what new the devil as to offer! If the evil parts of Carnival are deleted, it could be encouraging to a lot more people... Do you agree?
