In theory it could work like that but they cross each other, that's where the problem occurs. For instance the gays want the religious people to marry them. For me, that should not be forced on religion if they do not want it. At the same time the religious people can't say they get married by the government simply because the government does not represent religious beliefs.

I'm torn by this. There are degrees of right and wrong on both sides of this. So, the baker should be able to not serve who he wants if he has real religious beliefs that he can prove. By the same token, this doesn't sound very Christian to me. The two men in question should be able to go where they want to buy a cake. By the same token, do they really want this guy making their cake? There are other bakeries, why didn't they just walk out and leave this guy to his beliefs?

I'm not a religious person but I was raised that way. It is unreasonable to expect a person of faith to believe that it is biology and not choice. The scriptures for the main religions forbid homosexuality. How could they be made that way if it is wrong to act in that manner? For a person of faith to believe that it isn't choice Is to make them question God himself.

Well lets see here. We do not make Islamic women remover their head scarves for religious reason. We do not make Catholics eat meat on Friday's during lent so why should we force people to take photographs of an event or bake a cake for an event due to religious reasons. I am sure there are plenty of other wedding cake bakers or Wedding photographers to choose from. IF you are wanting a specific person then you need to respect his freedoms of choice just as he respects your freedoms of choice. Just because he or she does not agree with you does not make them wrong. Forcing someone to do something against their religion or other freedoms goes against the very fabric that has shaped this country. People need to learn to get along and not make such a mountain of a small issue.
