I know I will be battered for my reply but that's ok. JB I see no issue in the sale of items like this. They are collectable from history and really should be in a museum some where. But as a speculator I could see buying them as a whole set of Hitler collectables will stay in value and generally increase. I am not saying that this is the mans reasons for doing so but it is the reason I do not have issues with the sell of personal items of any criminal as long as the person nor the family of the criminal financially benefits in the sale.

It would be nice to see the moneys going toward monuments and memorials for all the people Hitler abused in his camps and science research during the war.

I don't know enough to say I do or don't believe this. That said, it sure sounds plausible. The man was a monster. If he managed to live out his life to old age that would be a sin.

Wasn't there an investigation into the bones they found in Germany that revealed it wasn't Hitler? Maybe the allies knew about this all along but said nothing.

It's possible but to what end? Germany was completely defeated. We put a large number of senior German officials and generals on trial. Most of them were executed. Why would we let Hitler escape? If we knew where he was I think we would have bent heaven and earth to get him. Also, Israel had a special unit to find ex Nazis and either kill them or bring them to justice. They were quite good at either. Hitler would have been at the top of that list.
