Title: Concern for the kids

Comments: One of our relatives pulled her kids out of the Tobago school and said she would Homeschool. She normally would not help her kids with homework so the thought she is home schooling is a little hard to believe. In questioning the kids they don't do anything all day but watch TV, play video games and run errands with her. It is a horrible thing to waste young minds away. I thought these was a law that required parents of homeschoolers to have the lesson plan approved by the ministry annually. How can I help these kids from wasting away? What is the appropriate authority I can report this parents to? Why has the school to which there kids were taken from this term not reported the parent to the Ministry of Education or some level of truancy court? Please help these you minds from becoming another statistic.

Title: Home schooling for secondary level

Comments: Hello I have a son in form 3. I am having issues getting him to go to school. He has had bad experiences there and refuses to go. I am looking at home schooling, but most of the discussions I am seeing are for the primary level. Can anyone give me some advice? I really don't have money for private tutoring so if I can do it myself I will certainly do it.
