MacCentral - Apple on Monday released a security update for Mac OS X, updating several of the components and technologies in the operating system. Specifically the update affects AppKit, BlueTooth, CoreFoundation, cups, Directory Services, HIToolBox, Kerberos, loginwindow, Mail, OpenSSL, QuartzComposerScreenSaver, Security Interface, Safari, X11 and zlib.

I don't know if anyone else uses AIM Messenger, but I do and consider myself one of those semi-computer illiterate folks. I don't click on a darn thing, though. My salvation?

According to iDefense, a division of VeriSign (Nasdaq: VRSN - news), on January 6, 2006, the world will see the release of a new version of the Sober worm.
