For those who don't already know, I am a Star Wars fan and a fan of most everything Star Wars as well.
Recently I gave up another subscription to yet another mobile Star Wars game. This is the fourth or fifth game in the last year that I have walked away from. Playing characters from Star Wars is okay, but it diminishes the grand and epic feel of Star Wars. The Star Wars galaxy is vast and there is room for exploration and a place for a character to really live out their life without major conflict or notice from the powers that be.
These mobile games are vary linear for something so vast and immersive as the Star Wars Universe. I got to thinking about it and this was also the same reason I lost interest with Star Wars: The Old Republic PC game. When everything fees like you are watching a Star Wars movie on constant replay, is it really worth it? With these ideas in mind, is it time to part ways with the Star Wars video gaming franchise? At what point would you have left or would you have left at all?
I can give you an easy answer which might be too basic and not what you're looking for but you give it up when its no longer fun and no one wants to play it with you. Its like when the family comes over and someone says what do you want to play? Someone might say Monopoly and everyone says no, how about… then they choose the game they want.
