Miniatures For 3D Printer

We all know the lead, plastic and paper miniatures. Some of us even like using gems or stones but what about miniatures made from your 3D printer? Companies are selling the outline to get it done that way you can print out your own army if you want. What do you think, is this the future replacement for the regular lead miniatures?

No matter what they come up with nothing can replace a good old fashion lead miniature. I still like the fact that you can print out a miniature as you need it but its not my first choice for miniatures.
