I love the board or box maybe I should say version of battleship. Its fun on paper too when you have nothing else to use.

Battleship

I have little to no patience with games based purely on luck, so this game is a no for me.

Now, if you do have a methodical approach (an old favorite of mine is calling every other spot, in checkerboard fashion), you stand a better chance of winning... But the game becomes even more boring.

I know people get really angry over games but I find it hard to believe you can get angry over a game of Battleship since its a cut and dry game - either you hit or you didn't, there isn't much strategy to it. Maybe someone's ships were moving during game play.
