Religious or not I think there is a line you just don't cross and if you do then its disrespectful to the highest degree. This business was looking for instant fame and they got it but the cost might have been high.

Sighs, yes even I have to admit this was a stupid thing for them to do. Especially if it was just meant to be humorous. Not helped that it was biblically incorrect that "Jesus was hammered for his sins", since it was not for his sins that the Atonement was done but for everyone else. Now admittedly, l some of the reasons were a bit extreme, especially with people making false reviews about the business and other things, but the owner should have realized people would get mad.

I will say that it is in poor taste, but I can't imagine the owner would not have known people would react in such a way. So I would think he would have known their was a chance it would backfire.

I think religious jokes are in poor taste because you are trying to make fun of what someone holds very close to their heart.
