Since March the worldwide brotherhood of Jehovah's Witnesses has gone 100% virtual, using streaming and video conferencing. It took a few weeks to get up to speed, but the process is running smoothly at present. It's been a blessing. Though we can not hug, shake hands and meet together physically, we can still see each other's smiling faces and encourage one another. Jehovah God and his son Jesus Christ has not let us miss a single spiritual meal. (Hebrew 10:24).
Mischief, with all the info online at our official web site I haven't heard that in a decade. Many Jehovah's Witnesses are doctors and nurses. To clear up misconceptions many have of our beliefs we have a "Frequently Asked Questions" section under the About Us tab on the site.
Yes we accept most medical treatments. We do not accept blood transfusions on religious grounds.
From a medical/health stand point there are alternative non blood treatments/blood salvage techniques. We have several short videos by leading medical professionals on this subject.
Christians should be first in line to get the vaccine if they are interested in 'protecting their brothers' from getting sick or even dying.
