PERTH, Australia - Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints collected grocery items recently for the St Vincent de Paul Society to distribute to families going through hard times. The effort was tied to this year's Australian National Families Week in May. "The central aim of our involvement is to make families stronger," said senior Latter-day Saint leader Peter Meurs. "That involves families giving and families receiving."
