See I find this very interesting. I've been a steady gamer my whole life and I've never been overweight. I have also participated in eating healthy and doing things like playing outside and once I grew up participating hiking and such. So I think that blaming video gaming is really only scapegoating one thing.

Title: Video games make you fat
Comments: The game does not make you fat what makes you fat is allowing yourself to eat more than you should. Poor food choices can also make your tum tum larger than it should be.
Video games themselves do not inherently make a person gain weight or become fat. Weight gain is typically the result of a combination of factors, including diet, physical activity levels, and overall lifestyle choices.
Absolutely not. A concurrence of aspects makes you obese, among which, besides the metabolism itself and the genetic aspect of each one, the management we make of our time, and the food we eat. Of course, if you spend 12 hours a day sleeping, another 11hours a day playing video games, and you eat hamburgers and pasta every day, you will probably end up with an obesity problem. With a healthy diet, walking one or two hours a day and taking regular exercise, you should not have an obesity problem from playing a couple of hours of computer games every day.
