I am personally still processing what has happened, the results of the election. How I am trying not to be overwhelmed with fear and despair for the future and those who will be hurt. Disappointed with family and other who voted for him, and in disbelief.

After everything that has happened, after all that he does done, a convicted felon who stole boxes of classified and top secret documents, convinced so many to believe the election was stolen last time, the Big Lie. Plus everything else.

I wanted to believe American was better, but it seems I was wrong.

You are so right and what is more cringe worthy is his election means a lot of suffering outside of America. Just think of all the NATO countries and the dashed hopes of Ukraine. People who did criminal acts on Jan 6 will be released and innocent people will be prosecuted for no good reason.
