What is your strategy for confronting the creature Wolf in Dungeons & Dragons?

Get your back to a tree or convince the party to fight back to back. This way you can't get flanked. Once you have killed one or two the pack will most likely run away unless they are starving. If you get tripped I hope you have decent armor. Once on the ground you become an easy target, very brutal.

I would not let myself be fooled by into thinking wolves are weak or an easy kill. In this game they are a misleadingly deadly foe.

Wolf Reviews RPG & Card Board

I have faced a few wolves in my day and I have lost some good characters to them too. They seem weak until they attack. I think a wolf or a pack of them is a nasty little treat for any group of adventures to face.
