Hunter x Hunter is a show about a kid who wants to pass this test that lets you become a "hunter." A hunter is like a mercenary that is trained in more than fighting. He is just a kid but is clearly above average. The characters a great and it's fun to see how powerful some of them are compared to others.

Hunter X Hunter is a very silly anime to me. While it has its serious moments, I find myself viewing it like one of my kids cartoons and not an adult anime. All in all, the storyline is far less than original, the animation is very vibrant and bubbly, and the characters are interesting enough. This may find more interest in a teenager just getting into anime than an adult that has been watching for a while.

I quite enjoyed Hunter X Hunter. Although the main character can be considered quite stereotypical, I still got drawn into the anime by his zeal and determination. Overall, the balance of character cast is good, and it's great to see how Gon and his buddy improve. Gon strikes me as a lucky kid, of course, else he'd have died long ago.

Some people say Hunter is like Naruto, uh, I mean, Naruto takes after Hunter. Long anime that has long explanations on moves and long sections. I enjoy this type of anime.

I like the story, how smart their solution and the use of their ability are, lots of psychology play, tactic, and strategy, and the weapon they use are not common, despite the mc childish and sometime innocent feel to it the story are actually serious and not childish at all with lots of death and gore.
