I never did stop enjoying cartoons, I recon if I had the time for them I would have never stopped watching them. While the old ones will always be great and I'm glad I'm seeing the flinstones and jetsons again, I also like to sneak a peak at the new ones when I get a chance!
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will always favourite tho!
Growing up I used to love the JLA. To me that was the best of TV cartoons because you got to see all the super heroes and villains in one show. It was an easy way for DC to also invite new characters. Besides that I loved Batman and Spider-man.
For ten points can anyone remember fro JLA the Wonder Twin space money's name?
Personally I don't like the modern cartoons except I used to be a fan of the Simpson a lot. But they are not for children. It's more teen and adult humor. I think a lot of cartoons these days are gross and disgusting. Slime and vomit is just gross. And I agree, gay issues are for teen and up ages not for young children.
I happen to love watching anime here and there but I love watching the love/romance genre plus, adventure and fantasy stuff. I don't like anime with military or mech in it. It's just not my thing. I've kept track over the years of the anime I've watched and kept a list of all the ones I've finished other the years. My favorite by far was Ranma 1/2. That was the best. I kept watching the seasons over and over again.
I used to watch Ben 10 a lot and Rurouni Kenshin was also one of my favorites, but Ben 10 alien force turned out to be boring. And now I don't have time for something other than news. I sometimes watch some animes online and so far Death Note was my favorite.
Avatar: The Last Airbender from Nickelodeon was a top notch cartoon. Fine animation, fantastic characters in a compelling story, and a rich, detailed world. If you haven't seen it, and like a good story in your animated entertainment, I highly recommend it. One caveat, though. It is not something you can watch piecemeal. If you just step in and watch an episode here and there, you won't grasp the magnificence of the story. It is a saga, told in three "Books," or seasons. To really appreciate it, you need to watch it in order.
In my childhood its either scooby doo or tom and jerry but for current one its either adventure time and gravity fall I like the art or aesthetic and quite deep plot of it which some have interconnected with other peoples past or previous action.
