But for some reason it doesn't sound 'good or acceptable'. I mean for instance if a friend of you call you 'foxy' it will offend ya? Is it an offensive word? To me, sounds so sexually explicit. Your teacher was so out of place *shaking head*
Being called foxy in english means very very attractive physically. Â It was out of place for the teacher to say something like that. Â I had a teacher in high school who used to stand over me at my desk. Â I didn't catch on to it for a while but at the time I liked to wear v neck shirts, they weren't low or anything but when someone is stand over then...well you see stuff and then he would make comments about my clothing, if I wore a big baggy t shirt the next day. Â Creepy no? Â Well he was a young teacher and divorced too. Â Bad combo. I never did report him or anything. The thought never crossed my mind. Â
It seems that young teachers are trying to fit in with the teenagers these days and are saying and doing things that they shouldn 't. Â The young ones still feel that they are allowed to joke in this matter with high schoolers instead of keeping that boundary between student and teacher. Â The sad thing is that most students would think nothing of it and accept in todays society and think it cool and funny to be thought of as attractive by someone older than them but still young enough to be considered one of their own. Â
Congrats on having such a higher code of moral conduct.
Good luck, with the drama teacher. Â Hope he starts to act and speak appropriately. Â keep a close eye on him and watch out for any more misconduct on his part.
