Since Philippines is a cultural melting pot, we have different restaurants specializing in western, Chinese and Spanish cuisine. So the best restaurants are those that serve those dishes. As to the local dishes, almost each province has their own specialty. Like the Bicol region uses coconut milk in their dish. Ilocos region is known for it's vegetable with bagoong (Shrimp paste). Then almost each province has their own version of Pansit (Stir fried noodles). Several Filipino restaurants that can be found in most regions are the fastfood giants Jollibee, Chowking and Greenwich. There's also Gerry's grill who's forte are all inihaw (Grill, bbq). As to the cost, a good meal in a good restaurant may cost around 1-2,000 php (20-40 USD) for a meal for two.
