Cars plunge nearly 300 feet as highway bridge collapses in Italy; 11 dead. A bridge on a main highway linking Italy with France collapsed Tuesday in the Italian port city of Genoa during a sudden, violent storm, sending vehicles plunging nearly 300 feet into a heap of rubble below. I know this was quite back in 2018 but that's still something that shouldn't have happened. It'll make people uneasy to cross a bridge if storms take place so easily but harsh at the same time.
