This is what happens when precautions are not made, the article also explains that the Boeing 737 is 30 years old and there were only 3 survivors in critical condition. These kinds of planes need to be overbuilt in such a way that they can operate in high pressure environments, on top of that the airliner is operated by a foreign crew.
