Yeah, I agree with that but I think they are so wrapped up in politics now that they won't extricate themselves. I think it's another indication of this all about me society we live in, that they have to be part of the action rather than just provide the services they did and help people. It more about being heard than helping people.

Supreme Court declines to hear case on effort by states to defund Planned Parenthood, in setback for conservative activists. The court on Monday let stand federal appeals court rulings that allowed the reproductive health organization to contest laws in Louisiana and Kansas that stripped its Medicaid funds. Trump administration approves rule to restrict funding for abortion clinics. President Donald Trump’s administration issued a rule Friday to cut federal funding for groups such as Planned Parenthood that provide abortion referrals. The rule would ban organizations from providing abortions if they are performed in the same facilities as other services financed by federal funds. More than a dozen Democratic governors have threatened to sue to block the measure from being implemented. Source 5s.
