I have not been to Norway, but I have met some of her people and she has produced some of the most friendly and intelligent people on the earth. What is your view?
Two centuries of Viking raids into Europe tapered off following the adoption of Christianity by King Olav TRYGGVASON in 994. Conversion of the Norwegian kingdom occurred over the next several decades. In 1397, Norway was absorbed into a union with Denmark that was to last for more than four centuries. In 1814, Norwegians resisted the cession of their country to Sweden and adopted a new constitution. Sweden then invaded Norway but agreed to let Norway keep its constitution in return for accepting the union under a Swedish king. Rising nationalism throughout the 19th century led to a 1905 referendum granting Norway independence.

I have not been there either, but I once had a good friend from there. He was one child of 17 and his mother was 46 at the time (he was 19). Based on him they are very friendly and intelligent and have a rich history with the Norsks. It is also a place I would like to visit.
