Nyasha, thank you for your interest. I have not heard about Ivan or Teddy. Do you know Ivan's brothers by chance? This is the pedigree that I follow for my Patriarchal line: Source 2t maybe Ivan is a cousin or brother somewhere. Edgard H. Borde had lots of land and plantations, no doubt your branch of the family may have some connection.
Do note, this is not the same as: La Borde.
I've recently found some very good information online that I have not been able to verify, nevertheless its a good way to expand the information I do have. I have also had to unfortunately start an external social group here should any BORDEs be interested in seeing who else is a BORDE with association from Trinidad.

French Post-Capture
De Meillac, De Pompignan, Blanchard, Mouttet. Some are Martiniquan in origin. The Ganteaumes are post-cedula in origin.
Could you tell me where this information comes from. I am particularly interested in details on Blanchard ancestry and this is the first I have heard that they came to Trinidad Post-British capture?
