I had read an article a few years ago about this myself. I also believe that I had heard since then that this information was not accurate. I say not accurate but it may actually be that it would take so much damage from this to cause a problem that it is ruled out as anything serious.
*I have lived with my cell phone near surgically implanted in my ear for years so if anything bad can come of it I will be the example.
Though I guess that this a debatable issue but it has also been shown that even microwaves emit more radiation than cell phones... So, I don't think that the radiaitons are harmful. It's just another thing we need to be ''afraid of".
I even recently read in a survey which they had conducted over a period of 10 years or so, that these rays have not shown any harmful effects in the subjects...
An Israeli study has shown that while cell phones do not sufficient heat the brain to cause damage, there is an indication of non-warming radiation emitted from cell phones that does affect the brain cells of laboratory rats (Lawyers?) within 10 minutes.
And this radiation affects the division of the cells, which division is associated with cancer.
