Why would a child be overly affectionate with a stranger though? I think thy need to be taught who they should share their affections with and who they should not.

Comments: It is entirely appropriate for children to kiss each other and is part of a civilized and socialized culture. Italy, France, Russia all practice this custom among all ages of people.

Such greetings should not be stopped at all.

Puritanical paranoia to do otherwise.
