What are the Shipping Ports like in Ecuador? What costs does the average person have to pay in Ecuador for shipping / transport by ship? What are the most visible differences between Shipping Ports in Ecuador and other parts of the world?

Ports Shipping Ecuador
Ecuador has five small ports that handle fishing vessels and small cargo ships and one fairly large port for larger commercial ships. The small ports are Bolivar, La Libertad, Manta, Bahia de Caraquez, and Esmerelda. For your information, Esmerelda is a beautiful city towards the north of the country. I had some wild times there in my Army days. The larger one is Guayaquil.
