What are the Shipping Ports like in Washington? What costs does the average person have to pay in Washington for shipping / transport by ship? What are the most visible differences between Shipping Ports in Washington and other parts of the world?

Ports Shipping Washington

Seattle is one large shipping port and it seemed to be busy when I was there. With a protecting barrier to the west it is not easily attacked or easily ravaged by weather as the blocking area is a large national park. This protection helps it be a great shipping port.
