NTSB: Engineer was not using phone during deadly Amtrak crash
In its second update on its investigation of the Amtrak train derailment in Philadelphia on May 12, the NTSB said its analysis of phone records does not indicate that any calls, texts or data usage occurred while the engineer was operating the train. According to Amtrak's records, the engineer did not access the train's Wi-Fi system while he was driving, the NTSB said. Ref. USAToday
