South Korea Shipping Ports
What are the Shipping Ports like in South Korea? What costs does the average person have to pay in South Korea for shipping / transport by ship? What are the most visible differences between Shipping Ports in South Korea and other parts of the world?
Consider: Deep habor, drydock, passenger dock facilities, jetty, etc.
The main shipping port of South Korea is Pusan at the southern tip of the country. It is a nice shipping port with many ships coming and going. It is serviced by a rail system and a main highways that both run the length of the country from the Capital of Seoul down to Pusan and back. The times I was there I found it a lively operational facility.
I remember the Korean I trained with talking about an island off the coast. They said it was quite the tourist attraction, drawing people all the way from Europe. Did you ever go there KN? I would assume there are ports there too since it's an island.
