I'm glad they allow them to choose who they will work with I couldn't imagine that they would allow pilots that hate each other to fly together.

Yes, they need to at least be amicable to each other. My goodness, can you imagine a plane in an emergency situation and the pilots don't get along with each other? Each would be trying to do his/her own thing and the plane would continue to plummet.
