Contact Lenses For Children

Are soft contact lenses safe for children? Risks seem no higher than in adults. Soft contact lenses can be safely prescribed to children and adolescents, with no increase in adverse effects compared to adults, according to a review. Source 4n.

I'm not an optician but personally I would not put contacts on young children because their eyes are still developing. Hygiene might not be there either because of the maturity level so there is plenty room for infection or worst.
