Bill would legalize selling home-cooked meals
An Assembly bill would legalize small-scale home cooking operations in California. The measure comes after a Stockton woman was convicted of operating without a license after an undercover investigator bought homemade ceviche from her. Ref. Source 6j.
That's nice of them. Really ought to be able to put cooking talents to use without dealing with a full on restaurant. I hope they find a good legal balance in regards to food poisoning related incidents. Ought to be able to deal with it, but if any bugger is able to drive someone out of business with a made up taleā¦.

You will always have those that will make un true claims just to make money. I think that those who make home cooked meals to serve to others need to be careful due to those who will just want to make money off someone and drive them out of business.
