Vending machine serves up fresh baked bread
There's a new kind of vending machine in San Francisco that serves up baked-to-order French baguettes. The devices are equipped with a refrigerator that stores semi-made loaves that are baked in an oven in 20 seconds and ― voilà ― a baguette is born. Ref. Source 7f.
Another low quality fast-food vendor. Although it is not something new, I prefer getting my bread from a proper oven with fire (Where I am from we have a lot of them) and be fresh dough and proper baked, not the dough-like substanse I find in the supermarket bakery section.
Its not a substitute for conventional bread but its good if you don't have time to stop somewhere to get. Isn't that what vending machines are for anyway? They provide you with temporary stuff its not meant to replace a visit to the bakery or local grocers.
