Gino is in the region of Emilia-Romagna. The region is famous for its world-class food, restaurants and cured meats. Gino discovers a cellar packed with 'the King of Cured meats' - culatello. The region is also famous for hard cheeses. Parmesan is one of its' popular ones. Gina prepares aubergine, juicy tomato and soft mozzarella with parmesan for a friend. Gino travels to Modena to sample some traditional balsamic vinegar.
In the finale of the show, Gino travels to Bologna. The city is famous for its gastronomic food. He checks out the city's world famous bolognese sauce. Against the backdrop of the towers of the city, Gino makes his family recipe of tagliatelle alla Bolognese.

Chef Gino D’Acampo ends his tour of Sicily by learning how to make the sweet treat cannoli and climbing the craters of Mount Etna. He also achieves a personal ambition by visiting the town of Savoca, the setting for Corleone in the Godfather movies – Gino’s favourite films of all time. Here, he meets the owners of the bar featured in the film and cooks on the terrace
