Depends on what you mean by “celebrate”. Do I attend religious services and believe in Jesus’ birth. No. Nowadays I leave Christmas to the kids.

Comments: I don't celebrate Christmas because its just a money sucker. You have to buys so many gifts for people just because they expect it meanwhile you have bills to pay and you can barely afford it.

Why I Do Not Celebrate Christmas Christmas

I have uncomfortable memories related to Christmas and my family. I always felt disconnected to them and like I was a last thought when gathering and trading gifts. Looking back, it could be my depression as a pre-teen and some traumatic events that led to this, but I still feel weird during the holidays.

I do go to family gatherings with my husband, but I am just along for the ride, and don't actively partake in different traditions they have. It's more of a supporting role I have when it comes to that.

Lightsabove, that is unfortunate especially since the season is so long winded. Personally, I look forward to its passing as I see it as nothing more than a commercialized time intended to make the public buy as much as they can or cannot afford.
