"Well do you mind if I sit down?"
She nods in agreement and point to where he should sit. He smiles and answers,
"Are you here alone? Your, family, they are not here with you?"
She replies, "I'm here for now… and those who know me are over there with their telescopes tracking my every move so you're here at your own risk."
She smiles and repeats his question, "Are you here alone?"
"Yes, I live down the road in one of the beach houses my parents occupy during the summer. I've never seen you before, did you just move in or from elsewhere?"
He shakes his head up and down with excitement, "Yes actually we moved in last week so I guess I'm the new guy on the block… or the beach depending on how you look at it." He winks and says, "How long have you been living here?"
"I grew up here, we've been living here my whole life and I can't see living anywhere else but here… I would simply miss it too much. But what about you why did you move here? Where did you come from?"
'We came from up state. Parents had the bright idea that moving out here will provide better job opportunities. I hope they're right because I'm really missing all my friends right now… know what I'm saying?"
"I know what you're saying but I've never moved from here so I can't relate. I've wonder what it would be like to live somewhere else but that thought didn't last long because I love it here. Which school do you go to?"
