Three Sisters Called For Duty In Iraq - Page 2

This was the premise for the movie, "Saving Private Ryan." Weren't there 5 sons? 4 sons? And all but one -- Private Ryan -- had been killed. So a contingent was sent out to get him and take him home. If I remember correctly, his first reaction was to stay with his unit. (I know, it's only a movie.)

Iraq Duty Called Sisters Three

I remember watching that movie, I have never been a soldier but it seems like war and the military gives you that sense of unity and service for your country.

I think it is more along the lines of people who feel that type of commitment to their country are the first to join. Military life and training just reinforces this.
