India's Women Can Worship in Temples

Trupti Desai, president of the Bhumata Ranragini Brigade, or Women Warriors of Mother Earth, then filed a petition in the Bombay High Court in Mumbai. On Friday, the court ruled that women could enter any temple in Maharashtra state. Ref. Source 3d.

I'm no expert on the culture in India but its akin to what happens in the middle east. Women there, for the most part, don't have the most fundamental rights enjoyed by women in the west. India wants to call itself a world leader yet keeps third world cultures alive.
