Back in history, there were many thousand Jews around the time 1926-1959. Around 1941-1942 during world war 2, there were around 8 thousand more Jews evacuated from the Soviet Union to the KSSR. It was only around 1989 when most Jews from different countries (Including Kazakhstan) decided to emigrate to Israel.
