Pope Francis defrocks ex-U.S. Cardinal Theodore McCarrick over sexual abuse allegations. The punishment, which was announced on Saturday for the once-powerful prelate and Archbishop of Washington, means McCarrick, 88, won’t be allowed to celebrate Mass or other sacraments. Ref. USAToday.

What makes me wonder about religions such as these and all the people who are in 'high' and 'holy' positions. Cases like this clearly indicates that it's very much possible for people who hold important positions can commit the same acts as any other criminal.
