Now, think of the Celestial Kingdom , how exciting it will be there. How do you imagine the Celestial Kingdom, Terrsetial Kingdom, etc? What will life be like on each? What will be our daily tasks?

Well, after the great and terrible day of the Lord.... I imagine a time of great learning, and of teaching. Of accepting the Patriarchal Order, and establishing family units. A great sisterhood, supporting the Priesthood. There will be work to be done, but in a different light -- exciting, progressive work, not drudgery. Just think.. no dirt or dust! No sickness! No bugs! No hunger or poverty! No cruelty!

In my mind, at least, it's a joyous time of creation and real LOVE and free-flowing ideas and in-depth learning. Where we finally can comprehend all things, without the bounds of time or mortality to restrict us. Where I can finally feel the arms of my Father encircling me, as I know He has done all of my life, and rest my head on my Mother's shoulder.... Where I can finally feel at Home.

Anything is better than this world
A Friend

world than is Anything

The glory of the celestial kingdom is presently beyond my comprehension, but I have faith that as a spirit child of the Eternal Father I have the possibility of an inheritance within this kingdom, as a 'heir of God and a joint heir of Christ to all that the Father has'.

Knowing that this possibility is given only to members of the 'true and living church' through the ordinances of the holy priesthood brings me a sense of gratitude, that out of all the people of the world, I have been given a chance to prove myself worthy of this blessing of eternal progression during my time in mortality.

I think the more time we spend thinking about this 'treasure of heaven', the better. It enables us to keep an eternal prospective through out our mortal sojourn, and helps us to work at keeping or lives in order.

All our efforts will be rewarded if we qualify for this glory. We just need to work for this blessing while we are here. Then the greatest blessing that God can bestow upon us will be ours for eternity. We will continue to progress throughout the eternities, we couldn't even begin to comprehend the great blessing that living in the presense of our Heavenly Father would be. Well at least not at the moment. Maybe one day we will grow in light and knowledge and be able to understand, at least to a small degree, the greatness of the Celestial Kingdom.

Yes, you're right. I think we should spend more time thinking about this treasures in heaven smile.gif, it will make us better people and it will encourage us also to share the Gospel with other people and keep our lives in order.
