VATICAN ARTICLE SAYS 'DESIGN' ISN'T SCIENCE
The Vatican newspaper has published an article saying `intelligent design` is not science and that teaching it alongside evolutionary theory in school classrooms only creates confusion.

Design Intelligent View Catholic
For once, I completely agree with the Vatican. I am surprised that they took more of a... shall I say, logical approach to this subject. I fully expected them to take the same stance as the evangelicals espousing it being taught as science side by side with creationism.
Catholic View: Intelligent Design Catholicism Studies
I actually took the time and effort to call and talk to the "Intelligent design" people. According to them they are totally mis-understood. The way I understand it they are saying this world did not just "happen." There was an intelligence involved in the design. For Christians, couldn't that intelligence could be their God?
