This Dramatist role,

One of the producers comes in and with a lot of hand movements and a sing song tone says,

"Ok girls and boys, we want all of you to be on your best behavior, you know, like good children would be... umm, we will have you first."

He points to Greg and then says,

"Come, come now honey, we have a show to run"

GM: Greg will now be featured on the show. You will go on stage and the interviewer will ask you the following questions which you must answer:

1. Who are you and why were you at the mall that day?
2. What did you see?
3. Would you go back to the mall and shop after this incident?
4. How would you have reacted if it happened to you?

Then, after Greg's response the other players may post answering these questions...

1. Who are you and why were you at the mall that day?
2. Were you scared?
3. Did you feel like you were going to die?
4. Did you do anything religious while in there?
5. Did your relationship grow with those stuck in the elevator with you?
6. Would you shop at the mall again?
7. Did you plan any civil action against the mall owners?
8. Did the rescuers get you out in a timely manner?
9. How do you feel now?

Now, after everyone has responded, the last person to post should send me an Email all of you have done this. Thanks.

Greg rolls his eyes at his luck to be chosen first. He sits idly in front of the camera until it turns on and then with a rusty and monotonous voice replies:

"Well, my name is Gregory Roberts and I am a teacher and a musician." He uses the opportunity to publicize his new album. "Speaking of that," he says, while putting his hand in his large pocket and drawing out the CD which he had brought just in case. "I have just released a new album called blood and gore, visit my site Gre..." He notices the gesticulating producers and realizes he was a bit carried away.

"Well," he started again. "I ate lunch at a restaurant near by, so I thought I might as well visit the book store."

"Well," he started dryly. "I wanted to go up the elevator, but the elevator didn't come. I kept pushing the button until I realized the elevator must be stuck." He paused to drink , took a tiny sip of water, and continued talking. "Well, I started walking up the stairway, when I saw the glass figure of the elevator beyond the parapet, stuck as I assumed. Through the glass I could see a number of figures, and could even hear voice - there must have been turmoil going on there... So I raced up the rest of the steps, considering to notify someone, when I saw the elevator open and firemen and doctors rushing towards the elevator. They were checking the people, though they all seemed to be fine. Except for one that had a stained shirt, and..." He paused trying to remember the scene. "... Had a really bad smell..." He grimaced. "Forgetting why I came there initially, I turned away and went home."

"Sure, why not? The elevator has stopped! It happens everywhere." He took another sip of water and continued with a tone of a start of a lecture. "If you look at it from a mathematical perspective - the probability of the elevator stopping again in this place would be much lower than that of an elevator stopping in another mall. In fact, you could make a Markov chain to show that, given certain..."

Looking at the gazes of the people around, and realizing they probably do not care much, he merely added "I would still go to the mall". the next question was then asked.

"I wouldn't have done a thing," he replied. "It's not their fault. As I said, accidents like that would happen. If any medical damage would have been caused, then I would have maybe considered suing. But if not, I'll forgive them."

He took a final sip and withdrew.

Mariah is all smiley, smiley knowing she will be on national television in any minute...she feels like at home, she loves to be recognized so she cannot wait to tell the world more about how great and wonderful she is....

She prepares to sit down but just before that she bows with a smile to everyone as if the production assistants and other fellow participants would have been clapping for her presence on the show....she then takes a deep breath to answer the question number one...

I am Mariah of course! the actress! the favourite of most movie directors...you all know me, she says while winking an eye. I was at the mall because I was looking for a pair of shoes...I have a couple of hundred pairs but good shoes are never enough for a girl, she says while smiling graciously.

Me? scared? she gives a loud laugh...no! of course not! there was nothing to be scared about....

To die?, she laughs even louder. Not at all!...actually in a moment I had to help out a couple of people who were very scared and since you know, I'm pretty much experienced in the movie industry, I used some of my acting skills to wake up a couple of people.

Uh...well...I don't know if this is religious per say but I was thinking deeply in Saint Genesius, the saint of actors, but then Mel (Gibson) came to my mind and forgot everything about praying, she says while she shrugs.

Oh yes, Roz is a beautiful and smart lady. She is a sweetheart and Xander is such a charming guy, he has the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen!. Both of them are great.

Of course, the mall is like home to me!, she says while laughing.

I haven't talk to my lawyers as yet regards to this issue, but as soon as I get more information I will let my friends from E! to know about it. I am their exclusive actress and they have legal rights in issues and news like this one.

No, they took forever. I was very upset. Everything went wrong.

Xander gets up next, with a smirk on his face after having heard Mariah's bantering of what happened in the elevator. He can't help but think "Man, this broad is really into herself". Yet deep down he digs that. He responds to the questions posed to him now.

My name is Xander, I'm a bartender. I was at the mall because, I, uh, couldn't sleep that day, so I decided to walk around and take in some sights.

No, I've been through worse. When you're in the mm, I mean, when you work in a bar, you deal with a lot of freaks and tough guys. I've even heard guns fired at my bar. This elevator deal was a breeze.

Never. Why would I? Hasn't anyone been stuck in an elevator before? It happens, and you deal with it.

Religious? Do I look religious? Next question

I don't know if 'grow' is the word. One of the girls shared their lunch with me, that was fun. Mostly I felt bad that they had to be put through that. I didn't mind it myself, but I felt sorry for them. They've invited me to dinner, but I have a reputation to keep up, you know?

Xander smiles at Roz and winks at Mariah

I don't shop. I walk around the mall sometimes. Would I go back? Why not? It was a dumb elevator malfunction, no biggie. Could happen anywhere.

What for? It's not their fault. Come on, ask some real questions, will ya?

Far from it. I don't think they knew what they were doing. I could hear them asking each other questions.

I'm fine. A bit irritated that I'm here because I got stuck in an elevator. The only reason I came back here was to meet up with Roz and Mariah to be honest. TV Talk Shows suck!

Roz finds herself really nervous as she takes the hot seat and clips on the lapel microphone. The lights are so bright, and the cameras are so much bigger than she imagined! She smiles at the host and begins answering his questions.

"My name is Rozalynn, I'm an accountant and financial planner here in town. I was just shopping, really, no special purpose in being at the mall."

"Actually, I was okay until the lights went out, and then... well, I have this fear of the dark... Mariah was really supportive, and even tough-guy Xander tried to help cheer me!"

"Oh, no, we weren't in there that long, really. And the rescue people were there fairly quickly."

"Religious? Why, no, I didn't; although, I suppose I should have prayed. It would have been a comfort, had I thought of it."

"Well, Mariah and I knew each other from a trip we both won -- gosh, at the mall, too! -- to a ski resort a while back. And I would say that we've become closer from this experience, for sure. Xander was a total stranger, but I would consider him a friend, now, yes."

"Oh, of course! I love the mall! I just don't plan to take the elevator any time soon -- anywhere, not just at the mall!"

"No, no, no." Roz waves off the question. "This sort of thing happens quite often, and I'm an accountant, not an attorney. There was no real harm done."

"Actually, I sort of lost track of time. I don't think we were in there all that long, even if it seemed like forever!"

"I feel terrific! I won't soon go in an elevator again, but as I said before, there was no real harm done. And, of course, this is very exciting to be on your show!"
