Country House wins 145th Kentucky Derby after Maximum Security disqualified for interference. Maximum Security crossed the line first but was disqualified for an illegal block after a long review by track stewards and long-shot Country House was awarded the victory. Ref. Source 1l.

Authentic wins 146th Kentucky Derby ahead of favorite Tiz the Law at empty Churchill Downs. Authentic gave Hall of Fame trainer Bob Baffert his record-tying sixth career win at the Kentucky Derby. Tiz the Law, who won the first leg of the Triple Crown at the Belmont Stakes in June, finished second. Ref. USAToday.

Never understood what was so 'thrilling' about horse racing. It seems that there isn't much to it if you remove the gambling that is associated with it. But its fantastic that Bob Baffert could do this six times. He must be doing something right!
