Obama Leaves Out "Under God" in Recitation of Gettysburg Address
President Barack Obama has a history of downplaying thanks to God at important occasions and new reports indicate he did it again during a recitation of the Gettysburg Address.
According to a report in Brietbart News, Obama omitted the words "under God" from the Gettysburg Address when reciting speech for a documentary historian Ken Burns was making. Burns was filming presidents and other celebrities to honor the speech, which marks its 150th anniversary today as delivered by President Abraham Lincoln. Ref. Source 3
