I have a counter question to this. Let's say it becomes proven that women are smarter than us, considering this world is no longer a place where might equals right and everything is solved with money and brains, then should we conclude that in the current time period there is already no need for men to pretend to be the bread winner or even the "Man of the house" anymore? I mean, what's the point of asserting masculine dominance if there is nothing a man has which dominates the relationship these days. If muscles are useless and women are smarter then can you guys please be the ones to court us for our simple looks and take us out for Friday dinners and such. You can tell I'm slightly sarcastic about the whole conversation, it's because the moment you have this "What gender is better" conversation you have to first look at whether this topic will bring any positive change to how men and women behave to each other and the answer currently is likely a big fat no.

I honestly find questions like this concerning or suspect, and very often unhelpful, especially since it is so difficult not to have stakes in what the answer in. Leading me to much prefer sticking with the stance that men and women can both be extremely intelligent, both in different and overlapping areas, while at times also being very stupid as well. That who is "Smarter" is extremely relative because of what can be used to decide such is variable, that what makes a person smart can be a matter of debate. That while you may be smart or intelligent in one area, you can be lacking in others. That each of us have our own strengths and weaknesses when it comes to relative intelligence.
