Lottery Recovery Center

When I first added the Instant Win Lottery to the Forum Shop not many seemed interested. The prize money was not enormous, but it was safe and did not cost a lot. Then I decided to spice things up a bit by making the stakes higher in Instant Win Lottery Plus and it seems that everyone is addicted, EVEN if Florena has burned them more than once or twice! What is it about that game that has everyone coming back for more?

Well I would say that it is the chance of "hitting it big" so to speak and winning a large amount of FP with such a low cost ticket. I was burned once and still paying for it, so never again.

Probably the fact that I actually won four times! If only I would have stopped after I won, I would still be very rich now cry.gif

Hmm, I hope once (or if) I will ever get back to positive, I won't play it again. But that's what I said last time, too undecided.gif

Oh boy!...the contest saved me from my 'addiction'. I put some money safe in the bank to pay back the banklender at the end of the month. I have to actually not visit the shop at all in order to not get tempted. It's hard.

You people are sad... rolleyes.gif Well, I suppose this is no different than when I would try to steal FP from others and get caught. I kept trying because I was successful at times. So, I am sad too. laugh.gif EXCEPT, I learned my lesson and don't attempt to steal anymore. Just like drugs...Just say No!

So let's suppose that tomorrow you have little or no FP and suddenly you see I have a juicy amount of 30,000 FP, you will not try to steal at all, at all??? laugh.gif

Well I could always make a feature that a user can press a button that self imposes bankruptcy (their FP goes to zero immediately) so they cannot do anything to get themselves in trouble. laugh.gif

If I saw a user with 30,000 fp, I would assume they had used some of their fp to purchase protection. I would definately not attempt to steal it. Now, if there were no protection available for purchase, I might be tempted... biggrin.gif
