Thermodynamic magic enables cooling without energy consumption. Physicists have developed an amazingly simple device that allows heat to flow temporarily from a cold to a warm object without an external power supply. Despite it being early in development and still needs more efficiency, that's a great step! It would be nice that the reverse effect can also be applied, but for now that's not how science works. It would help a lot of certain areas without power to have a free source of cooling for storage.
